James Maddison is cooking. With Spurs’ number 10 out the door it was only going to be one man taking that number. Madders is the real deal. Stung the the bees on Sunday with his midfield masterclass. 2 assists to his name and he’s not stopping there.
He will be the key to this new Spurs era. Ange ball already underway and with 'Hamez' at the centre of it. Given the free roam role that he loves and produced a performance that we can cherish. This creative architect is bound to be causing problems this year and I feel he will be massive for Tottenham going forward.
Picking up the ball in dangerous pockets of space and threading an eye of a needle pass is something we can expect a lot more from him this season. Not to mention his dead ball abilities which will certainly provide the lilywhites with another goal threat and make them a dangerous team from set pieces.
