The team as a whole were simply shocking today, and showed no desire or hunger to get across the line and create well enough to win this game, so picking out a standout is evidently difficult.
In case you are unaware of the ratings system, it is rated as follows:
0-2 - Dreadful performance, consists of mistakes and errors and costs us the game.
2.5-4 - Below par, may have made a mistake or two or showed nothing worthy in the game.
4.5-6 – Average, offered nothing special but completed a solid shift and minimised mistakes.
6.5-7.5 – Offered some effort and delivered something to the team in getting a result.
8-9.5 – A great performance and a large contributor to the result with a goal, assist or clean sheet.
10 – A perfect performance, no mistakes and carried the team to a win. Rarely given out. (E.g., Kane vs Man City)
Goalkeepers and Defenders:
Hugo Lloris - 3.5
Another error leading to goal for Lloris this year for that Buendia goal. Our captain has served us well, but his age is showing and the club should be actively scouting replacements for him in the summer.
Matt Doherty - 4.5
The Irishman is certainly more solid than Emerson Royal, but truthfully lacks the ability to take on his man, and struggled to deliver crosses today. Nothing special defensively again.
Cristian Romero - 6
It was welcoming to have him back, and made some decent tackles in all areas of the pitch and showed aggressiveness. However, it all counted for nothing.
Clement Lenglet - 5.5
The France international clearly excels more on the left side of defence, and constantly looked uncomfortable today. I think Eric Dier is more reliable, despite his errors.
Ben Davies 4
One of the most average players at the club. He constantly slows the play down, makes back passes and lacks quality. A left centre back should be a priority this January.
Ivan Perisic - 6.5 (Man of the Match)
The Croatian was nothing special today but the best of a bad bunch. Got into good positions, showed fight and urgency and was solid defensively. He made mistakes too, but I believe he was partly unlucky today.

Midfielders:
Yves Bissouma - 4
I cannot believe how disappointing Bissouma has been, which is a shadow of himself at Brighton. Constantly making the easy pass, defensively lazy at times and not creative or ambitious whatsoever. Spurs bitterly missed Bentancur today.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - 5
He rarely has a bad game, and I would not describe his performance today as that. Just average. I wish he would offer more up top, but he is not the man to rely on. Equally won and lost midfield duels today.

Attackers:
Bryan Gil - 5.5
The youngster showed the most energy today but once again lacked any final product, which is quite painful. His chances to succeed in Conte's system are unlikely.
Harry Kane - 5
Nothing to write home about for Kane's performances today. Had one unfortunately cleared off the line but also missed one of Tottenham's only important chances. For his standards, not very good.
Heung-Min Son - 3
I am starting to wonder whether this is the end of Son delivering 20 goals per season for Tottenham. His performances have been woeful, work-rate even worse. Hopefully it turns around, but another shocking display

Manager:
Antonio Conte - 5
Hard to say he was outclassed by Emery today, but the players offered no intensity or quality. I believe that was the best line-up possible. The only criticism I have is the lack of a plan B. Switching to four at the back could have changed fortunes, but we know the Italian is too stubborn to do so.
Ratings will return next Wednesday after the Crystal Palace game.
